Movie Night

Gnomeo & Juliet - Dec 8 @ 6:00 pm - MPR.  Bring your blankets and sleeping bags and let the kids get comfy in their jammies.  We’ll be selling popcorn, pizza, nachos and more! 

Yearbook

Please remember to turn in your child’s Kindergarten school photo.  You can drop it off with their teacher, leave it at the office for Lara Cassidy or if you are submitting a digital photo, you can email to mrscass99@yahoo.com.  Look for flyers and emails with information on dedication pages.  Also, please keep in mind that we would like to include photos of your child’s entire experience at Enders in all grades. We are not limited to 6th grade photos only. They can include performances, field trips, class parties, etc.  The more the better.  Kids just love to be reminded on how they all looked in the 1st grade J. If you send in an actual photo, put your child’s name and teacher’s name on it and it will be returned.  If you send a scanned photo, please make sure it is at least 350 dpi and your child’s name is included in the email. 

Philly's Best Fundraiser

Dec 3 – Dec 11  Look for flyers coming home for the Philly’s Best (located in the Von’s shopping center) Fundraiser.  They will donate 20% of all purchases to 6th Grade Boosters during the week of Dec 3 – Dec 11. 

Science Camp Update

We are getting very excited about our week at Science Camp in April!  Barker and Garden Park students have already attended and they are telling everyone what a great time they had.  If you indicated that you will be making contributions or pay in full, please send the money in as soon as possible.  We all want our children to attend the camp and will do whatever it takes to make it happen, so please do not hold onto your donations.  In order to stay on track, we needs the money sent in as indicated on the intent forms.  We need to collect half of all donations by January 13 with the entire amount  due March 12.

Fresh Wreath Fundraiser

Now would be a good time to remind family and friends that we are still selling fresh wreaths and they need to get their order in soon.  On-line orders are very easy to do.  We encourage everyone to populate their facebook page or any other social networking media that is used to get the orders coming.  If you need instructions on how to do this, see the post below.

If you have actual order forms, here are the deadlines.  Please turn them in to your child's teacher.

Orders are due by Nov 18 to arrive in time for Thanksgiving.
Orders are due by Dec 15 to arrive in time for Christmas.

Kindergarten Photos Needed

Please send your child's Kindergarten school picture to Lara Cassidy for the yearbook.  The preferred method would be a digital copy (350 dpi) which can be emailed to mrscass99@yahoo.com.  You can also give your child's teacher the actual school photo which will be returned once it's been scanned in. Please have your child's name clearly printed on the photo or typed in the email.

Acapulco Fundraiser

We have teamed up with Acapulco on Beach Blvd for a 3-day fundraiser!  This Wed, Thurs and Fri they will donate back to the 6th grade boosters 25% of all food proceeds spent.  You can also forward this on to anyone you know to use; as long as they present the flyer with their order, the 6th grade boosters will receive the donation.

World's Finest Chocolate Fundraiser

Ready to Fundraise?  We have World's Finest Chocolate as an individual fundraising option to earn money for Science Camp.  The high quality and excellent reputation of World's Finest plus the $1.00 selling price make this an easy product to sell.  Unsold chocolate cannot be returned, so please plan accordingly.

How it works - You purchase the box(es) at $25 each.  The box contains 50 chocolate bars.  You sell them for $1.00 each and net $25 per box.  You keep all proceeds and use towards your payment for Science Camp.

Sign up forms will be sent home with your child next week.  You will pay for the box(es) when you place the order and we will deliver the box(es) to you.  If you have any questions, please contact Lara Cassidy.

Science Camp Donation Schedule

Here is the schedule for Science Camp.  There is no specific date; anytime during the month is fine.  Please make your checks payable to GGUSD and turn into your child's teacher.  This is merely a guide.  If you would like to make a larger donation one month and a smaller donation another month, that is fine.

October 31 - Halloween Fundraiser During the Parade

Halloween Parade @ 10:00 am.  6th Grade Booster will be selling donuts, muffins, coffee and juice to all spectators during the Halloween Parade.  Please contact Lara Cassidy (mrscass99@yahoo.com) if you are able to help out or if you can donate the coffee, donuts, muffins or juice in any amount, for the event.
